Cornwall Council has granted planning permission for two canopy-covered padel courts with floodlights at Heron Tennis Centre in Newquay. Heron Tennis is a thriving community club that welcomes players of all ages, with junior and adult coaching programmes for all levels run by Ace Tennis Coaching & Academy.
Together Heron and Ace provide a European-style coaching programme where younger players are encouraged to play with more senior players to broaden and develop their skills.
Game4Padel is delighted to partner with Heron to open what will be the first padel courts in Cornwall. The courts will be open to both members and non-members, and opportunities to try the new sport will be offered to local schools.
