Padel success for Paul just five months after picking up a racket

One of the big things that makes padel so appealing and enjoyable is how quickly it can be picked up.

Whether you've racket sports experience or not, you're able to enjoy engaging rallies and brilliant points from your very first time on court.

Paul's one of many to discover a passion for padel at our Chesham 1879 club.
Paul's one of many to discover a passion for padel at our Chesham 1879 club.

And Paul Duncan, member of our Game4Padel community at our Chesham 1879 club, is a shining example of this in action.

Having moved to Chesham in July, the 31-year-old decided to join our G4P community as a way to make new friends in the area and instantly caught the padel bug.

He now plays twice a week and recenty won the Autumn Improvers Series and is now turning his attention to future events at an even higher level.

He said: "I love padel as it's such a great fun and sociable and it's only 20 minutes walk from my house so it's really easy to work around my schedule.

"And it's great for my fitness which is a bonus as I'm training for a few upcoming challenges."

One of the challenges is this year's London Marathon in which he's raising funds for both the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and SUDEP Action.
