Padel Scottish Cup success for G4P Barnton Park Men's Team

A huge congratulations to our Game4Padel Barnton Park men's team who were crowned champions at last weekend's Padel Scottish Cup.

It was a repeat of last year's final agaist West of Scotland Padel with Barnton Park coming out on top this time to lift the trophy for the second time in three years.

The title was secured after the third rubber with Barnton Park leading 3-0, before WOS pulled one back in the fourth match.

Captain David Holmes and Calum Gordon teamed up to secure victory with a clinical 10-3 tie-break win in the decisive encounter.

David said: “It feels good to take the win this year after a rematch of last year’s final. They were all such tight games, but we managed to get through them.

“We’re happy to get the trophy back after last year - all the boys put in a great effort and we had a solid team for every tie.”
